“I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers.
I tried to paint the air around them but couldn’t.
So I painted the flowers.”

— Claude Monet

I paint what can’t be seen.
Visual art is often praised for its decorative beauty,
but for me, the essence lies within.
I paint for the painting to be felt.”

— Liis Koger

  • This is not a review. It is impossible to review the sincere and pure art of Little Girls. You cannot criticize a diary that holds the most hidden thoughts, hurts and dried tears, secret dreams, and fairytales. One can only feel grateful for the opportunity to glimpse into this magical world — where surrounding beauty, joy, and even everyday rush transform into creations through the vision of a sensitive interpreter. When these moments become paintings, they carry a gentle eroticism — passionate yet soft — enveloping the viewer with tenderness.

  • An ultimate feminine force of nature. Much like the many layers in Liis’s paintings, the same can be said of Liis herself as a creator — ranging from poetry (having published three poetry collections) to crystal dishes and paintings spanning more than 15 years. What makes her creative work so special, to me, is the rare combination of emotional extremes — in the best possible way — marked by forceful honesty and authenticity, while remaining exquisitely delicate and sensitive. It’s a rare and striking harmony — perhaps best described as an ultimate feminine force of nature. P.S. Regarding international art transport (even large paintings): from personal experience, I can confirm — DHL employs miracle workers. If you wish: angels on the shoulders of art. Literally!

  • Everything went well — a good experience.
