Orchid Portals & Afterglow — Two Exhibitions Now Open at Artius, Tallinn
On Thursday evening, April 16, I opened a new exhibition at Artius Tallinn — a place many still remember as Foorum. My paintings unfold in two rooms, each carrying its own atmosphere and emotional language.
The first, Orchid Portals, lives within the intimate sitting area of blue chairs. It is a quieter space — an evolving, long-term installation where the works may change over time. A space to pause, to return to, to sit with. The works here open like soft thresholds: subtle, layered, very colourful, yet inward.
The second, Afterglow, reveals itself immediately upon entering from Narva mnt. To the left, a larger, open space holds a more expansive expression. These paintings carry warmth, intensity, and a certain lingering light — still reminiscent of a garden in green.
Together, these two rooms form a dialogue — between stillness and radiance, intimacy and intensity.
Below are a few glimpses from the opening evening and the exhibition. There was a lot happening that night, so I mostly captured videos, which you can find as reels on TikTok and Instagram.
