See maal on alguse saanud merikarbi ideest. Ometi leidub abstraktses maalis nii palju rohkem elemente: mina näen seal merd, kaht inimest, karpi, pärlmutterpinda ja mustjalt pilgutavat silma. Maal oli üleval eelmisel suvel restoranis Basiilik ja kodukal on vaatefotosid, et aidata teha kindlaks, kas see maal oleks õige just Sinu koju.

This painting began with the idea of a seashell. Yet, as is often the case with abstract art, it holds so much more. I see the sea, two figures, the shell itself, the iridescent shimmer of mother-of-pearl, and a dark eye glancing quietly back at the viewer.
The painting was exhibited last summer at Restaurant Basiilik. On my website, you'll also find photographs of the work in situ, making it easier to imagine whether it might be the perfect piece for your own home.

This painting has been resigned with my own name, Liis Koger.
For a while, I went through something of an identity crisis, trying to understand how best to communicate the SISI STERN brand.
Eventually, I realized that it was never intended to be an alter ego. Rather, SISI STERN represents a concept.
